Dedicated and passionate Buckeye engineers from the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering participate in the Maji Marwa project. This interdisciplinary service learning initiative brings together students from across Ohio State and the University of Dodoma to solve engineering and development challenges related to providing clean and accessible drinking water to the village of Marwa, located in the Same district of Tanzania.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all previously-scheduled SRC student and staff travel to Tanzania has been canceled. We thank all of our student teams for their hard work in preparing for the trip and for their dedication to the task of bringing safe and clean water to the citizens of Marwa. We look forward to returning to Tanzania and resuming this important work. Please revisit this page for future updates.
